Basketball is a game of runs
Always has been and always will be.

Tired of seeing people whine and bitch about bad beats and shit. Everyone is shocked when their squad is up big and looks like a sure bet but the other team comes back. The game lasts 48 minutes (or 40 in college) and anything can happen.

It's the easiest sport to turn things around.

Basketball is a game of points. Baseball is a game of runs.

What book do you use? I've seen that Bovada has good live betting (1st team to 10 points vs 1st team to 20 points for what ive found elsewhere) but I've heard of people having trouble cashing out there...

So when I have the Warriors ML and they are winning by 20 points with 5:27 left in the game and lose I shouldn't be pissed?

I use quite a few, Pinny is decent coz they have great lines but only have lines up during timeouts and between quarters. Otherwise I have bet365 et William Hill. bet365 even have live betting on quarter under/overs up until the last 2-3 minutes of the quarter, so if you can get a feel of the game it's always a nice thing to have.

I just have one rule when I livebet: always try to fade hot teams. This is a game of runs and most often you can fade both teams during their hot streak in a game and aim for a 6-7 point middle. Long term you will cash a few. Also always interesting if your books have shitty lines, like yesterday one had OKC-26.5 and the other OKC-30.5 when they led by 32. I jumped on the -26.5 and LAL+30.5 and got the middle. It was "lucky" as Fisher hit that 3 in the last 30 secs, but only risk losing juice to win 2 plays in a 4 point middle with about 6 mins to go in the game is a risk I'm willing to take.

I had Memphis-5 in that "famous" meltdown. I am still kicking myself for not taking Clippers+11 live when they first cut into that lead, even though it was a "bad beat" in the end. I guess I thought a 13-1 run would wake Memphis up. They ate another 15-2 run after that. lol

At the time it was my biggest NBA bet of the year. I think GSW were like -1 or -1.5. I just took the ML.

Anyway, they just kept turning the ball over and Jackson didn't do anything. So damn frustrating. Then I'm pretty sure they still had the last shot with the game tied but Tony Allen picked their guards pocket and layed it in to end the game. LIKE WTF!

I remember they got 2 off rebounds in a row and just shot it again on contested jumpshots with 20 secs left on the shot clock every time

Yeah, the whole run started with a missed layup by the Warriors, a Memphis three in transition, a turnover by the Warriors and a layup. I think Memphis trimmed 5 off in like 20 seconds and then Golden State started turning it over like crazy and forcing shots early in the shot clock.

When Memphis cut it to 10 with like 3:45 left I felt beat. It was pretty ridiculous.

Basketball and Hockey are very similar on home and road records.

That's why it's frustrating to watch a whole BBall game with money on it. Much prefer to track on the internet and watch the last 5 minutes.
