How does this make sense (Tebow Trade)

2. Jaguars offered higher draft value
3. Broncos trade Tebow to the Jets...

Logically the above doesn't make sense.

Then factor in the following:

4. Jets will compete with Broncos for playoffs
5. Jaguars will not

How does this trade make sense if the Jags were willing to eat 3mil of Tebow's salary and their 4th round pick was of a higher value than what the Jets traded them
