SBR Points / non pro merchandise??? Seriously??
Let me get this straight. So I have almost 1000 points. Was looking in the store today, wanted to get a pizza gift card. Apparently I'm not an SBR Pro so all I can get is a t-shirt or hat????

Not for nothing but I have been a member of this site for almost five years. I even attended the first bash in Vegas, think it was in 2009.

So someone enlighten me if you would. What do I have to do to become a "pro" and use my points to order a stinking pizza??? How much money do I have to dump at a sponsor book to be blessed with that moniker?

Now I understand the point system would probably be abused if some restraints were not in place but I guess if I don't pony up at some off shore book that God knows who is running it, than I can't really use these points unless I want a pair of SBR underpants.

Ya know, not for nothing guys, but I really don't trust these people running these off shore outfits anymore, certainly don't feel comfy giving them my CC number or personal info.

What happens when one of these fine establishments goes belly up? Where does my personal info wind up? Is it sold? Stuck on some hard drive somewhere in a third world he11 hole?

I'm mean lets be honest here. The SBR points system is a way to garner players for sponsors. If BetJam is still a sponsor I'll make a deposit because I have had nothing but positives with those guys but anyone else I just can't do it.

Listen big dad...I happen to work full time and don't spend all my time gambling like a gutter loser. Some people actually live in the real world and have real lives, with real families and responsibilities.

And I would bet my life our personal info is sold 100 times over not only by SBR but by the offshore books. No f!@#ing thank you.

Put $200 on Draftstreet through the link. Apply to be pro. Play one head to head game for $5. Win or lose, withdraw and get your $ within about 2 weeks, no worries about the check cashing since it's fantasy sports and not a book.

Enjoy the benefits of being Pro, it's not bad at all

Thats fine. I'd rather do that and have some prick who doesn't give a rats a$$ about my info sell my sh1t when his book blows up. Half the offshore books are run by criminals.

Not that 99% of the people out here ever considered that before forking over their personal info.

How can anyone forget the credit book and deadbeat list complete with drivers licenses for all to enjoy and see....

Seriously for the fantasy stuff there is no rollover. It's just a matter of coughing $200 for about 2 weeks. Perfectly viable solution there imo especially for US Players like myself whom because we are US citizens need to be protected by the government from betting over our heads

And how do you know that criminals can't be trusted?

How do you know that for example ITunes or Microsoft won't sell your info?

I don't care who buys my CC information as far as they keep it and don't use it. Most stolen numbers are stored in databases or resold to a higher bidder and they rarely get used by anyone.

I was a non pro up until a few months ago,i had 25k points last year and bought 800 barreled in t-shirts, they had no caps
at that time, anyways brought them to the flea market and got $1.50 each.

However you cannot do that anymore as they capped the total amount of points a non pro can accumilate.
