The Jays aren't exactly playing for nothing. Halliday has 18 wins and 2 starts left. He's well liked by his team and they will be playing this game to win to give him that chance to get to 20. This doesn't mean i'd say play the Jays, or that they will even win the game, just that if you are using the "nothing to play for" angle as part of your decision making, it's faulty thinking.
