Sergio Garcia and Lee Westwood will both be on the bench Saturday at the Ryder Cup, marking the first time the two European stalwarts will miss a match in their careers.

Both played twice in Friday's matches. Westwood paired with Garcia for a half-point in the alternate-shot matches, then joined Soren Hansen in the afternoon for a half-point in the better-ball competition. It was Westwood's 27th consecutive match and extended the Englishman's unbeaten streak to 12, tying the Ryder Cup record held by Arnold Palmer.

Garcia is 8-0-1 in career Ryder Cup foursomes and Westwood is 6-2-3.

How the fvck can you choose Oliver Wilson and Henrik Stenson to face Mickleson and kim and bench Westwood and Garcia? Nick Faldo ignored Montgomerie and Clarke as captains picks because they've got a history of not getting on and now he decides to bench two of our best players because his ego is bigger than the Ryder Cup will ever be.

You wanna know how big this is? This is bigger than the US team benching Tiger Woods because Garcia has a better Ryder Cup record than Woods. This is like Bill Bellechick benching TomBrady on the eve of the Superbowl because they had an argument 3-years-ago.

I can see benching Sergio b/c he played like absolute dogshit, but what fukin drugs is he on to bench Westwood in favor of OLIVER WILSON?? Are you fukin kidding me, bench Hansen, bench Jimenez or Stenson, but Westwood are you nuts, he's the lone hope for the European's this Ryder Cup, Sergio's laying down and playin dead whilst Westwood is fired up like it's life or death to win his match and you bench him and pair complete dogshit Stenson with no name rookie Wilson for a free point for the Americans when you know if they assrape you in Sat morning like they did yesterday the matches are over, unreal. What is Faldo thinking? Admittedly choosing Poulter over Clarke has turned out well as Poulter has played incredible but benching his two best players on the deciding day of the tourney (even as bad as Garcia is playing) doesn't seem to make any sense whatsoever, congrats US you just won the Ryder Cup, Faldo clearly bet the farm on the US to win.

Anyone could show up when the US was in its early stages of development b/c they knew what a hard road it was to go (similar to any undeveloped nation) and that all you were guaranteed was to get some land in the middle of absolute nowhere, now the US is the most developed and powerful nation on earth, ppl arent taking a huge chance on immigrating to America, they are coming here b/c they are guaranteed to feed off the success that the citizens that came 200 years before them created, BIG DIFFERENCE, also if you can't speak English in the US you should be exported to a country that you can actually contribute something to, pick up a book and learn basic english before even dreaming of coming over here, I'm tired of ordering at fukin subway and having to sign language my order so the dumb fuk fence hopper can figure out I want tomatoes on my sandwich
