Up here we treat the Great Ones name with reverence, anybody who does'nt, chews on the boards.
Every league has it's hotdogs, adds character.
I have a full time job, family and play 2-3x week at a high level with guys half my age, coach and teach. That's hockey son.
So you are in the Red Wings system, undrafted I guess a walk on, and in the middle of training camp you have time to trade barbs with JJ and Nicky? I mean I have to its my job...man c'mon, wannabe's?

boys, deuce is a 22 yr old kid who acts 11.. he's not grown up yet.. he lives at home with mommy and daddy and has never worked in his life. he sits home all day and plays xbox.. he's a highschool dropout and lives in a make believe world that he really is a pro hockey player. the kid doesn't even know how to hold a hockey stick.. i swear, if deuce played hockey with us, he'd be by far the worse player on the ice. he was always the worse player on his team and really fantasizes about being a red wing.. a red wing?? lol.. he lives in detroit and is a big red wings fan.. does this answer your question.. it's like jj being a big yankee fan growing up outside NY and telling everyone he plays for the Yankees..
don't listen to anything this kid says.. he's a nice guy, but lives in a dream world.

I agree with Deuce here, now we got all these hockey stars making fake pics and sending me videos of when they were in the NHL. It seems like we got lots of curent and ex NHL players posting here. Wow!!!! How could that many guys say they played on one forum.
I still think I will be first guy to go to Montreal and challenge Nicky, by reading this thread everyone seems heisitant to play him. I know he is a club player, I just need 3 days to be trained by a hockey instructor and I am good to go. I think more guys here should become fictional book writers .
How could all these guys have instant hockey pics of themselves?

nah he plays nicky, just did'nt make it and he if he's really 22, knows his days are numbered. obviuosly not good enough or motivated to go to europe or he'd be there, playing and making decent coin. Hockey chews up and spits out 19-20-21 years old like one of JJ's pretend TV's on a slow Monday night.
Trust me.

Deuce claims he plays for the Red Wings Chain but has not shown any proof he even played pee wee hockey. Just because you live in Canada does no mean you played hockey at a high level. I think Nicky and me are the only two here admitting we enver played big time hockey, Niclky learned on the street and I learned by reading books.

me and nicky are gonna hook up and we'll film, right nicky? pick a rink near us Nicky. JJ I'll use Nicky to demonstrate the toe flick and explosive starts, and the backwards c-cut stride.

In the fall of 1994, Lou Schmidt (who is currently the president of Honeybaked Ham Company), began the Honeybaked AAA Hockey Club. Honeybaked started with one team, the 1984 birth year and added a team each year until the 1998 season when the midget minors and midget majors were added to the top of the organization to give us a full compliment of boy’s teams. In the 1997-1998 season, the girl teams were added to the organization and they have kept up the proud tradition built by the boy’s teams.
In the early years, the teams skated out of U-M Dearborn and Oak Park. In 1996, Honeybaked and the City of Oak Park entered into an agreement that allowed Honeybaked to operate the Ice Rink and give us a permanent home. As we grew, our ice needs grew. eventually we added the Hazel Park Ice Arena as our second home.
After 12 seasons, Honeybaked has won 39 State Championships and 4 National Championships. Honeybaked teams have won the Quebec PeeWee tournament 4 times, including back-to-back Championships with the 1985 and 1986 birth year teams.
Honeybaked continues to be a leader in sending players to the United States National Development Team. This season the U-17 will feature three Honeybaked players: Robbie Czarnik, Steven West, and David Wohlberg. The U-18 team have Honeybaked graduates Matt Rust and Brad Phillips for their second year with the NTDP.
Honeybaked has over 50 players spread out in the NCAA playing hockey. The University of Michgan has 6 players with ties to Honeybaked on their roster. The Michigan State Spartans have 5 players that have played with Honeybaked.
Honeybaked players are now becoming of age to play hockey in the NHL. Last season, four former Honeybaked players played in the NHL. Tim Gleason (1982) for Los Angeles, Jim Slater (1982) for Atlanta, Jason Bacashihua (1982) for St. Louis, and Ryan Kesler (1984) for Vancouver. This season should produce more former Honeybaked players entering into the NHL.
The tradition of Honeybaked Hockey continues to build, and the players continue to excel at their sport after leaving the Honeybaked family. Once you play for Honeybaked, you are Honeybaked forever.

Betbetter,
Douche is a punk. He actually bragged and posted a video of himself (or someone) attacking a ref in the hallway at some local rink he claims he played in. Very Classy!!!
BetBetter I am also a certified referee and when I saw this I lost all respect for the kid. He was actually bragging about this.
Does anyone remember seeing this video/thread?

Deuce,
This is how dumb you are. You posted that you live in Michigan, but played Junior B hockey in Windsor. Remember? I responded with "why in the fak would Windsor recruit a player from Michigan to play on their Junior B team when there are probably 1769 eligible players in the Windsor/Ontario area?"
Remember that?
Your time is up Deuce. This thread is for real hockey fans and former players.

Good old Stan. Hey did you know that Larry King used to cover the Rangers/Islanders eons ago?
Come to Windsor, Ace. I would play you in a game of drop in, anytime, anywhere. C'mon pal. I will put my puck where my mouth is. Some guy on the internets doesn't believe my credentials, I just shrug my shoulders and say, "fukk em".
For the record Pucker, that fight against the ref was JJ stiring up trouble. I was never in a ref brawl, etc. JJ is delusional.

Actually, no one can be compared to Gretzky.
I could list hundreds of names of current and ex-NHL'ers that started in the OHL but it would take up too much space.
Hockey players come from Ontario.

Only like a few other good players did not come from Ontario.
Wendel Clark came from Saskatchewan, Ovechkin is from Russia, some other guys not worth mentioning, really.
Would guarantee more Ontario names on the Cup than from anywhere else. Players come from other places and are fancy, but are afraid to go in the corners, OHL players will score 45 goals and will fight, back check, hit, block shots.
Players from Finland and Quebec rarely do this.

Interesting, but making a personal judgment on me based on my rants at SBR is pushing it, maybe if you stick around a bit you'll figure things out.
Pucker, you took the bait, which makes you appear like a typical east coast hick.

Al Mcinnis is maybe worth mentioning, that newfie was good.
But really, Defencemen should defend.
Scott Stevens was much better than Al, would take him in a heart beat over Al.
