Nicky the boys a centre ice-man, plays goalie in road hockey Nicky, road hockey.

Nicky in our area within a 30 min drive each way there are at best count 15 rinks that offer shinny time 7 days a week. Now alot of those days there's only a few puckheads so there's plenty of free-ice to do our thing. We could do a skills contest, hardest shot, targets, faster skater like the all-star game.

Or, I play in a few regular pick-up games with a bunch of other ringers ex-AHL guys, college guys, guys some not too far removed QMJHL guys you could jump in. The odd time we get the ex-has-been NHLer.

You need full equip though Nicky sometimes the boys like to bump a bit. So throw some facial protection on that old Butch Goring helmet, grab the tree branch Titan and the tube skates and come on out.(or do you still use the moulded Langes, the black plastic ones?)

Pick a rink in our area and tell me when you'll be there. I play out in Pierrefonds all the time, 4 rinks, tons o'ice time.

Nicky I also teach power skating, if you've got problems with yer forward stride I can help. Keep the elbows in swing them like a boxer, get yer shoulders level with the boards.
