Can't discount anything you say about Mario.
But...........
Walter's kid read "the flow", the bounces, and saw the game at a level higher than Mario's, which was elite. He would've put up those numbers anywhere he played. How many of his goals looked like garbage goals but was him putting himself in the most opportune place on the ice to capitalize on the bounce, which really, in essence, is what hockey is at the NHL level.
Mario had better hands, I stand by that.
If I'm starting a team from scratch and I watch both of them scrimmage for 3 periods in an uptempo game, not knowing either of them, I'd take Gretzky.
Better leader as well. Mario learned to become one when he matured. 99 was a leader from the time he was 10 years old.

Mario actually didn't mature until after he came back from retirement.

Gretzky had eyes in the back of his head and even in his skate blades.

Nicky makes a few good points, but my main argument will always be that Wayne made others around him better hockey players. Just like Crosby does.

Jimmy Roberts played for a bunch of those teams you mentioned(i think),plus he isn't 70.

Actually, in the NHL section its not so much about giving out picks as it is about comparing selections and the reasoning behind the selections, I've changed my play because of something I read in the NHL forum.

LT gets all the credit for his hockey selections and I don't mean to be disrespectful but there are others in that section that I believe know alot more about hockey than Mr. LT Profits.

Plus we gamble differently, LT plays the same amounts on each game, I'll go "all in" on a game if I see something I really like.

I'm specifically looking for Andrew Raycrofts starts in Colorado this year, needless to say I won't be betting UNDER OR the AV's in those games.
