From a national perspective it does not mean much, but its a huge game to those familiar with the WCC. Its the only rivalry in that conference, and the most prominent rivalry on the West Coast for the past 3 years. This is the the first time, since 1989, that Saint marys has a chance to be regular season, and WCC tournament champs in the same year. Gonzaga wants no part in that....

Sorry im typing from my phone. I didn't say you were an idiot...But your statement is still ridiculous no matter how you choose to spell it...if it's a rivalry and personal then it may mean more than if either were in or out. this comes down to who plays better tonight since the stats are quite even. I'm giving the edge to the zags because they are playing great at the moment.

still not sold on gonzaga, saturday night they looked a little too good to be true IMO, most of the year it looked like they would have had to win the conference tourney to get in, now they are probably a lock to get in win or lose. def one of the weaker teams they have fielded while this is one of st marys better and they were blown out and weren't competitive the game at st marys earlier this season, that hasn't happened for ages.
