Recently before the All-star break someone posted on here about a martingale strategy to bet the top teams ML every night. I thought it might work so for the past week I have bet the Thunder, Heat, Bulls, and Lakers at home and put 10 dollars on each money line. I know this is a little amount but I wanted to experiment with low risk before saying this strategy can work. Well with just a week of games I have profited 20 dollars. 20 dollars is nothing but that is because most ML's for these teams are around -400. I do not bet the teams when they play each other also. I was wondering if anyone else does this strategy and if anyone would consider doing it.

You know, in the history of gambling, I don't think anyone has ever thought of this method. I think someone came up with a bet the worst teams method which was a disaster but we've yet to strike gold with this bet the best teams method.Comment -

I know its only been a week and its not a new strategy, I was just saying I have been trying it and its worked. I'm not a pro so I like trying new things. I actually I going to college for Financial Management so I dont have to be a degenerate like most of you. I bet for the sport of it.Comment -

It has worked so far as I have not missed the toilet as far as I can tell.
But the thing is, I do not want to clean it up if I do miss which is why I have gone back to opening them.

The economy is improving and a finance degree is the highest undergrad business degree so I'll get jobs over all other business' majors so I'm feeling pretty good about graduating.Comment -
I will get a acct. minor and my MBA so if I have to go the path of acct. I will be more qualified than most. Acct. seems a much more boring ritual job than finance which is why i picked it. I would have a hard time doing the same thing everyday writing journal entries and posting them each day.Comment -
Well my advice to you is not to bash the entire board for being degenerates because they bet more than $10 a game.
I bet a lot more than that and I'm certainly not a degenerate since I'm going to 3 years of school after college is over.

Well I was hating on degenerates but you obviously are not one; I always have people hatin because they throw 5 g's on a game when they only have 10 to survive. I love to throw big money on games but degenerates don't have jobs and have no lives they just live on whether a few teams win or lose. Its not long term. It just till the end of the year because the thunder, heat, lakers(at home), and bulls rarely ever lose 2 games in a row and have not lost 3 in a row this season. Obviously you would lose long term but for the isolated season I believe it will work. It doesn't necessarily matter how you word a strategy or even use one that has been in form for years, all that matters is results and Im up 20 units after the first week. If I would have been 100 dollars each game I would have been up 200 units. Its all relevant and since Im winning I guess ill just keep my mouth closed and enjoy my results.Comment -

ML Parlays are awesome but you gotta do it the right way and pick on plays that have good value
Portland at -400 tonight is terrible value - they have lost several games recently to inferior teams
Sacramento at -470 is also a terrible value - see above
OKC at -270 is great value. OKC has been unstoppable at homeComment
