here is a bet where a poster here can actually help you. if the pace isn't fast enough i will scream "run run run" and "go go go" from courtside so both teams get the message. yes i have been known to make an ass of myself to help win a bet.
georgetown averages 69 points per game, marquette averages 76. so 145 average points between them, a great chance that the score is close enough to foul at the end, and senior day with breakneck speed expected by the home team.
marquette has only had 1 game out of their last 7 go under 133, and last time they played georgetown won 73-70.

VMI +12.5..Big South Championship Game..ESPN 2 12 Noon..

Before the year started, the pundits in the Big South picked the Keydets to finish 3rd in the conference.Needless to say VMI disappointed their fans along with their coach Duggar Baucom by playing way below expectations this year finishing 7th in the conference. But low and behold this week the whole team seems like they are trying to make up for a lost season with one great run.They won at home vs Radford, then smoked a good Coastal Carolina team on the road, then routed Winthrop in the semis.Now they have a tall task of playing the home favorites in UNC Asheville. Before you say they have no chance, in the two meetings this year, VMI lost by 9 at Asheville and lost by 3 at home.In this game you are getting 12.5(already bet down from 13), I think this is a very generous number considering how hot the Keydets are.All the pressure is on the hosts here and VMI is playing with house money.In their minds,regardless of what happens they have proven to themselves that they are better than they played throughout the year, many times this carry's over to play on the court.Yes Asheville may win, but I am fairly confident that VMI will continue to play well here and shoot well, their field goal % the last 2 games is way up at over 50%.For the season they shot 44%.They shoot over 50 today they may win outright and for sure cover.

georgetown is a more disciplined team than cincinnati so they probably won't be giving up 95 but i would be surprised if this game doesn't get to the 70s/80s

when i said only 1 of the last 7 marquette games have gone under 133, keep in mind that ONE was the west virginia game with 4 guys suspended. so other than that outlier, the other 6 were all fast paced high scoring games, no reason to think that will be any different today.

Troy Trojans +4 @ South Alabama

Troy has played a much better schedule than S. Alabama and are so much better at taking care of the basketball than S. Alabama.

S. Alabama is 333rd in the nation in turning over the ball on offense and Troy takes care of it quite well @ # 64 in the nation. That quite simply is what counts in post season basketball. If you can't handle the rock you can't cover a spread. To make matters worse Troy is much better at forcing turnovers as well

To make it simple.....if you have played a much tougher schedule and win the turnover battle by a large margin you have a real good shot at covering a spread.
