Illinois is the worst 3 point shooting team in the Big 10 now. It is going to be really tough for Illinois to win if Gatens keeps draining 3's.

You can frame it however you want, but Illinois won because Leonard played his best game of the year, by far. If he brought that nightly, Illinois would be in the tourney. That, and Paul played under control.

I mean, Gatens hit 5/6 from deep. If he isn't hot they lose by 20.

Lots of ways to look at it. Iowa threw the ball out of bounds unprovoked at least 5 times. Countless other bad turnovers.

They played their worst game of the year. Illinois played bad too, I agree, but Illinois has been playing bad for months.
