For a 3day stay in Vegas, how much cash does one need??

dinners, gambling, and see a show. i have 2k set aside for the trip. is that way too little???

When I went with a friend we stayed for 3 nights and took 5k with us. We ate at the steak house at the hotel and walked around and mostly gambled and went shopping. We then went to AZ for a week. So I would say if it's just you and your cash 2-3k should be good minus hotel stay. We stayed at the New York New York and was able to walk to any of the casino's but mostly gambled at the one we stayed in. 1st time and we had a blast

You don't need more than 2k unless you're planning on going crazy gambling. You'll actually be able to have a nice time there for three days with that amount, and I'm the type who always brings way too much money on trips so I don't have to scrimp. Have fun griz

That's plenty. Take what you can afford. Its all relative, but in my opinion, that's more than enough to have a great time.

$2K is perfect imo. I have never brought more than $5k. You can have an absolute blast for $1k/day is the way I look at it.
