You know what pissed me off. Yesterday Dirk had a four point play and the commentartors were like "dont leave him open". Lin makes a layup, "What a miracolous shot made by Lin. This guy is unbelievable!! Did u see how great that open layup was?"
That shits annoying.

Yet, it won't be Lin's fault. It will all be on Melo. Can't wait.

You guys are morons sometimes. I guess Lin has to be the top scorer in every game he ever plays now, in order to be legit.

To be a super star, you should be in the top half at your position, shouldn't you?

I love lin and the work he has done just not the hype media is giving to him when there are other players who come from tough lives and longer journeys to have similar success. Also Deron is having a career game, not everyday thing.

I think Deron just set the record for the most three point shot made in the history of Madison Squure Garden by an opponent.

LOL, definitely agree... a black kid coming from a broken family, abusive drunk parents, ending up a super star is a much better story than some rich asian born with a spoon in his mouth.... but the media likes what the media likes.

Michael Jordan was cut from his high school team. There are other stories out there as well. Hell, a first round draft pick in the NFL a few years back didn't receive any scholarship offers and had to walk on somewhere.
Shit like this happens more often than you think.

CJ Watson was cut by the Suns.
Look at CJ Watson's numbers... 22 minutes, 10.4 ppg, 4 assists per game, 1.7 TO per game
Those numbers aren't that much different than what Lin is averaging over 40 minutes per game, except that the turnovers are a lot lower.
If Rose were to fall off the face of the planet due to his back, CJ Watson would post similar numbers to Lin over a full starting role.
But again, he isn't what the media wants.

Extrapolate Watson's numbers to full time and they'd all be similar to Lin's except much lower TO totals.

It doesn't work like that.....it's also a player taking a NY team on his shoulders.....leading them to a 7-1 record when they've been struggling
Done arguing, blame the media....not the player

Lin, came off the bench, and made the Knicks relevant again by playing like an All Star.

Knicks aren't relevant again. 2 home losses last 3 games to Hornets and Nets.
