Your missing the point in what Rex was insinuating.

None the Knicks current players played in China, and are doing much better with Lin. Rex failed to concede that Smith is going to benefits the Knicks because they have a good point guard, but rather because of Smith's familiarities with what a Chinese person looks like. Rex comments had nothing to with basketball that's all.
