NBA season is longer than NFL season. Higher chance that Lin will fall off 1st. It only takes one horrible game

Tebow already fell off. Lin has already proven to be a stud.

Lin will be around longer, he doesnt have 250 plus pound motherfukkers trying to knock him out when he has the ball, tebow does.

Lin will be around until 2020, since he won't have any problems with injuries. Injuries is the only thing that will short his career. Someone will make him the 12th man guaranteed. If trash players like Maurice Morris or Darko Milicic are still around, people with Lin's skillz should last in this league.

Tim Tebow is an absolutely awful NFL quarterback. Tebow will be a 2nd stringer no later then the season after next.
Lin is a good player and there is no reason he won't continue to be a good player for a while.

I tell u what...Heat has been just killing the spread lately ...I think it is time to start betting against them, taking the other teams and the pts.
That's my claim and I'm calling it!

Lol, Brian Scalabrine and Luke Walton is still around. With that said, Lin will definitely be around. Not sure about Tebow though...

one 10 game stretch of being good in the NBA is good enough to keep you around for 10 years. Always players needed on bench for NBA rosters so he will be around for 8-10 more years. QB's on the other hand have a much shorter lifespan in the league. Hell Lin could be around longer than Aaron rodgers if you want to compare guardplay in the NBA to a NFL QB. The real question should be who will have the better career between Tbow and Lin.

both great stories but who really cares??..personally all i care about is being on the right side of the bet when they are involved in the games i play...otherwise i couldnt care less and neither should you..cause they sure as hell dont give 2 shits about you!

If royal ivey can play for 8 years as a backup averaging 3.4 and 1.2 assists then lin will last 15 years.

I don't know basketball but from what I understand Lin is at the very least a competent to high-level starter on a professional level.
I think Tebow will get a few more chances then he should, but will never produce on a high level. Knowing the way these things work, I'm sure his defense and running game will win him a Trent Dilfer ring and we'll be arguing about tangibles vs intangibles for eternity.
Walter forgot... when you're desperate's when you got no choice.

Average active years of a quarterback is 4. This is even worse that MMA. Football just destroys the athletes. You can see a lot of basketball players active being 40 years old and even more. Besides Tebow fame was more due to tebowing, Lin fame is due to scores and assists.
