Anyone put it past the NBA to cook something like this up?

-The NBA figured out several years ago 9 black guys and one white guy was not a recipe for financial success

-The white and latino markets have already been targeted

-Huge void in the domestic and foreign asian market when Yao Ming retired. Lin appeals to millions of both Asians and whites who would otherwise not watch

-NY Knicks one of if not the biggest market

-A lot of Lin's points are made by reverse and acrobatic layups. Easiest thing in the world to fake defense on a layup. I used to do it all the time at the rec center for payment in chilidogs. NBA big wigs and players probably framed this during the CBA meetings to keep the league alive and kicking awhile longer. "Make this guy look good until after the all star break," they probably said.

Sorry guy. I don't put it past the NBA to pull some shady crap like this, but the story is too random.

You can't expect the league to ask opposing teams to stop playing this asian kid well, because we need him to succeed.
