Surely this is the opposite of what you want to do. In theory each team should end up around 50% ats for the year and so those with the best current records are only going to get worse from here, and it's the teams with the worst records that you want to back from here on out.

Of course when the linesmakers continue to put out lines like Heat-1 @ the pacers then anything can happen.

What you are doing here is basically jumping on a bandwaggon one it is already full. I find this especially strange as you seem to be one of those "Vegas knows all types" who puts the linesmakers on a pedestal. Almost everyone here seriously needs to pick up a basic stats book. It will blow your mind. You will realize how fukkin stupid 90%+ of this board is when it comes to understanding how to win at sportsbetting.

You're doing it wrong. ATS reverts to mean during season. Much better strategy to fade a team that has been doing great vs the spread after half season (fade for 2nd half of season). Also if team has been going 65% over first half of season play the under 2nd half of season.

You might as well ask me to define talent. Very difficult to define. I would say square is choosing the most obvious pick because it looks good at face value. And therefore backing the 76ers and Clippers because they have been good ATS so far is square. I wouldn't define myself as either, I just try and make a profit. I prefer going against the public because the books are in the buisness of making a profit so siding with them is better than siding with public. I also do my own research though. Nobody is perfect but I have made about $4k over the last year using $80 per unit and mostly 1-3 unit bets.

I like to pick my spots though and had about $1500 on LSU -1.5 the other night over Bama minus their 4 best players and also won over $500 on the Celtics hosting the Roseless bulls Sunday. If only all picks were that easy.

so you bet $80/unit, do "mostly 1-3 unit bets", and then decide to bet 19 units!!??

nice work being up 50 units, at one play a day that's going 215-150 which is quite unsustainable in the long run.

i made a lot more than 4k with much less effort and no risk taking bonus money and cross betting, but to each his own

I like clipps to win easy, and chance washington plays this close is unlikley after two good performances, but 13 is too much for me in this game.
