Come November, remember Obama's $3.8 TRILLION budget this year which represents an significant increase over any other budget ever passed. The only thing Obama knows how to do is spend money that this nation doesn't have though the republicans will NEVER pass his budget as written. There is no possible tax increase that could ever pay for a $3.8 TRILLION budget without incurring significant additional debt.

It was mainly cause by the housing bubble. Government entities like Freddie and fannie forcing banks to make loans to under-qualified people and the loans were falsely sold as triple A rated mortgages to financial institutions around the world. Then the bubble burst and affected the whole world. Bush actually warned this was gonna happen and tried several times to stop it but fell on deaf Democrat ears.
