I hope he does I put a small wager on him last night to win and a bigger wager on Tiger ov Mickelson. Not looking good on the bigger bet through 4 holes. Mickelson already has 2 strokes on Tiger. Cmon Tiger!

Yeah thats why I made this bet but now -3 to ev for the rounds through 5 holes doesn't look good so far. Mickelson is actually looking great right now too. Tiger not so much.

Tiger can't dial up 4 days of golf any more than anyone else around him can. Looking good for 3 rounds is standard for PGA play. Seriously.

But it's only a problem for those who want him to perform on an otherworldly level. As long as he's wrestling with accepting that he can't master the game like he used to he's going to remain a quality fade for a long, long time.

I think the only chance he has at a major will only be after he stops trying to retake the throne like he did as a young man. One, maybe two more. But zero as long as he's pressing.

It's really going to be interesting to see if he can put it together at all this year. He seems close, much closer than the last couple years. Really tough to say. I don't even think he knows. I think he believes, but it's a show me game at this point. He still has the shots though. I really wouldn't bet against him pulling it together.
