Jeremy Lin is a beast.....it's his quick first step and ability to create space on the floor that keeps his opponents on their back heels. Steve Nash like only more youthful.

His real test will come on Saturday against Kobe. If Knicks win their, then this kid might have John Stockton potential. Although I see him more like a Andre Miller playing point guard. Not the most gifted player talent wise, but a very smart basketball player.

Not gifted talent wise??? You must not have been watching the last 3 games. This kid has a crazy fast first step to the hoop, nice smooth stroke, and great passing abilities. I cant see how thats not physical talent ...lmao

His smarts is a compliment to his talents not the other way around. This kid is the real deal.

amazing what a prodigy they beat the wizards good for him though, knicks need fukkin action, too much standing around. he is actually perfect, glad for them.

He'll have ups and downs.. but FFS look at the sheit he's working with and making better...

That Wooden guy said something once I think about guys who make people better...

He just does smart things... hmm... enter the ball.. give and go... pick and roll...

AMazing how many guys in the NBA have such little concept of this... kid will stay I think... He would fit better though as a sixth man on a good team in my oh so humble opinion...

Lakers isn't good against good point guard play, Lin will have to be the star for knicks to win.

Locals following the Knicks all year have been saying it, if this team had a true point guard it could compete. They were freaking having 'Melo dribble the ball down, half the time trying to drive it to the basket and shoot without even thinking about a pass. Ridiculous. It is yet to be seen if Lin is the real deal or not, only time will tell. But I can assure you of one thing there is no one else on the Knicks' bench that is capable of doing what Lin has been doing the last 3 games.

you're exactly right... there are teams that don't look like much, like the Rockets.. but when you have people who are clearly well placed at their positions, the whole is greater than the parts...

He's good the league and good for the game. Good to see him get a shot.

I'm so tired of watching talented hood rats (John Wall, Jennings, Mayo, Beasley, anyone remember Telfair?) given huge contracts despite having IQ's of 65.

How does Kobe figure in here...? And if you meant the Lakers in general, slashing point guards tear us apart. Anyway he has a pretty soft schedule ahead of him, plus Melo out for up to two weeks. Go Lin!

Knicks play the Lakers on Friday, Derek Fisher is not gonna stop Lin. Can see Rubio slowing him down on Saturday a bit though.

I'm so tired of watching talented hood rats (John Wall, Jennings, Mayo, Beasley, anyone remember Telfair?) given huge contracts despite having IQ's of 65.
Non of the players named have huge contracts. Jennings and Wall are still playing on their rookie contracts as well.

Knicks need to trade Carmello and Fields to Orlando for Dwight. Can you imagine if NY went big on the court with Chandler at center, Dwight at PF, and Amare at the 3? With Lin dishing. It would be insane.

Maybe a little over hyped now with these last couple of games, but he has a great basketball IQ and his athleticism is underrated. He will thrive in the Knicks pick and roll system and while he may not be the superstar people are already claiming him to be, guy will be very serviceable and maybe the future at the Knicks PG position. Mavs would have kept him last year if it wasn't for the log jam at guard.
