Does Chat Ever Work?

Of the last 6 times I've tried to access it over the last few days I'd say I've got in 50% of the time. Is it my computer or does it keep crashing and failing to load?

It's just your computer, I'm usually a mainstay in there, only being idled out occasionally if I don't chat for a little while.

Not sure why you're experiencing any problems, what browser version are you currently running?

Ive got the latest IE. It fails to load the page but takes ages to do so.

Hmm, running dial up by any chance? The only thing which I can think of is either if you had a really slow connection or insufficient RAM on Vista or something, the chat isn't all that resource hungry so not too sure.

Try clearing your cookies/ or even logging in on Firefox through http://www.sbrchat.com or one of the forum links.

Ok, cleared cookies, temp internet files and cache and it works so it was my computer and not the chat. Sorry to SBR if I implied otherwise.

Mike, it occasionally drags for me very badly on the work computer for some reason. Even had Whitey the Super Tech look into it, and it's apparently just cyber gremlins. It works ok for me at home, but I'm going to avoid chat this evening. Would be a bit like a Man U supporter in full gear running through the Lime Street Station in Scouser City shouting, "Liverpool sucks!"

No, just don't have the energy to deal with the schoolyard antics tonight and try to break up a fight between the Jets and Sharks. Enjoying a nice pint of Boddington's, and will hopefully watch my Astros finish off a sweep of the Cubbies
