I think it's hard to say guys like Roddick and Murray are under achievers in an Era with arguably two of the top three players to ever play [Federer & Nadal] and rapidly maybe with Djokovic's dominance ... three of the best players to EVER play the game in action all at the same time. Yes, Roddick did have about 4-5 years where Nadal and Djokovic weren't the players they are now on all surfaces, but he's had to go against Federer pretty much toe-to-toe during his whole career. Only a handful of players can say they've had success during that era.
Also with the way today's hard courts are set up so quick and all the power players ... there are more guys than ever who can dominate with a serve and run deep at the two hard court Slams.
I think if Roddick never won the US Open, people would think his career was pretty solid and not blink an eye. When he won a Slam, he got a Bull's Eye put on him as someone who should win more. Del Potro is going to have that same pressure.
