I laugh anytime I see someone ues the excuse that they don't want to give SBR their info...Anything you do online now-a-days that involves your name can be found out by anyone...If you don't want your personal info shared then don't go online and offer it up anywhere.

I'm scared to open online banking, I know all my friends tell me how convenient it is, but I'm just scared of my info being found out.........

All SBR does is verify through the sportsbook that you are eligible for Pro status. They give yes/no answers.

If you are worried about "personal information being disseminated", I would hope you don't use Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Gmail, Yahoo etc.

SBR would have the username and password for a sportsbook account. Potentially having access to bank information, not to mention my wagering history. Am I comfortable with Pinnacle or Bookmaker having this info? No, but there are no other options. I certainly will say that the only other entity that may potentially have this type of access to my information would be Gmail. But I certainly trust their ability to protect such information more than I do an offshore book.

Do I trust SBR? Absolutely. I'm not worried about SBR John or JJGOLD being involved in any type of malfeasance. But what if SBR gets sold? What happens if SBR gets penetrated? There is always an inherent risk when giving out personal information, and the less I can expose myself to that risk, the better.

If I don't want the hassle of walking in to a ** and going through the sending money process what are my options? What is the absolute EASIEST way to send money (what SBR books take CC's?)?

The best bet is to ask the sportsbook or checkout the official SBR reviews. Some of the processing info is touchy, and we ask that it not be shared on the posting forum.

I use 5dimes and vsa...have no complaints. fill out 2 forms which takes 10 minutes to fill out and fax and for them to confirm and you're good to go.

And I know what you're saying about the IRS thing, but exactly what you said, it's a VERY VERY slim chance, that anything would actually come from it...Same thing with buying things online with your CC, there is a better chance of you getting your identity stolen from buying things online than there is with SBR handing your name to the IRS.

I've never ordered a pizza from SBR, I dick around with points, it's fun.
But there are plenty of people who got some NICE things from a tiny little deposit, that you were going to do anyways.

If you're really not trolling - the sportsbooks confirm the player's deposit and that his/her name matches. SBR never asks for your password.

There are no negatives about it. SBR gets a cut of your 200, and you don't lose anything. It doesn't hurt you that SBR gets a little % of that 200. It's worth nothing. You could get free plays for points in the past, but since that option is gone the whole pro thing is useless.

Even if you just saved all your points and got a free pizza every time you reached 200 then you'd still be up $130 a year. Although it's really more like $330 a year since I'd imagine most people become pro by funding accounts they were going to use anyway, so it's really not costing them anything.
