Not sure how much i like this, hopefully it works out. Thing i do like about it is the fact that the Reds are trying to win this year...

I like it, don't love it. I think he's overrated, but will be solid and his power should increase in GABP.

Yea, he didn't play full time for my Buccos. His pop was a 1-2 year thing. Without Pujols and Holliday in the lineup with him, he struggled. Sure the Reds have bats, but they don't have a Pujols AND a Holliday.

Ryan Ludwick was garbage here in San Diego. Maybe he'll do better in that ballpark. Everyone hits there.

Speaking of San Diego, the Padres absolutely fleeced the Reds in that Latos trade. Kid has unreal stuff, but has always been very immature when things don't go his way. I wonder how he is going to handle going from the best pitchers park in the majors to one of the worst

                        pirates fan here.

if you guys dont win it this year, it might be a while.

im thinking the same thing for the pirates.

brewers will be down, not completely but not nearly as good as last year.
cardinals will be down, not entirely but not nearly as good.
cubs: are they rebuilding or will they be there this year? im thinking 2 years the cubs will be primed to make a run.
                        astros: yeah right.

pirates: gotta do it now while the others are rebuilding and we still have the guys we have, you never know when they are leaving.

i would make you guys the favorite right now. not because of ludwick but i think you might have enough. def think heisey plays more though

ya, their top prospect, that they been very careful with, due to larussa blowing up Ankiel ... Garcia is good, supposedly miller is better ... add wainright and miller to the rotation and beltran to the lineup playing center, if shawn green ever translates to the majors like he does in the minors, craig and freese ... jay off the bench is ok, ... all more than makes up for pujols leaving ... biggest concern is Berkmans drop-off and shoemaker, i havnt heard if they resigned him or not, but they need to, he is very solid

alot of pressure on holiday, people expecting him to hit 37-40+

maybe they catch lightning in a bottle...if not he wont be horrible as a 4th of. and is at least average maybe above average in left. Heisey can play CF if stubbs is on pace for 200+ k's again this year.

I think they could have went with frazier and fransico as backup OF's and got them some at bats in left. Saved the 2.5 mil....and at the all star break if heisey or frazier are horrendous trade for a rental bat.
