I think the opposite... This is a big game for Pittsburgh after a horrid season, they come out strong and keep it close early -- but ultimately won't be able to contain 'Cuse late. I'm going to see how they first half plays out and perhaps make a wager on Syracuse if they are under-performing.

Pittsburgh is horrible; they are definitely not the Pitt of old. I think they stick around for maybe 10 minutes or so, then Syracuse rattles off like a 15-2 run somewhere in the 1st half and ends up going into the locker room up by around a dozen.

Pitt can't play defense like they used to, and they don't have the big big guys to bang down low like they used to. They rely on the outside shot (Gibbs alot) and their moral is down because they are not used to losing. plus their starting PG is injured and their top recruit quit the team.....

dj i felt the same way but every game Pitt just seemed to keep struggling, i think casey's play for the 1st half may be a good one.

Although if Gibbs comes out on fire i totally agree with you. It depends on Gibbs.

I wouldnt go 1H spread. I see it being a close one going in at half, then Cuse's depth will take over and tire this Pitt team down in the second half
