gonna be 65 degrees in SF tomorrow... nice warm weather for saints... niners havent seen a top offense yet this yr... the few good qbs they did see, their suspect secondary showed its ugly face...
brees will have all day to throw into a secondary with holes in it..
saints roll

You're saying "fukk the stats" as a reason to take the Saints, right? Because most of the statistical points I've seen here were in support of the Niners. The reasoning being used by the Saints backers tends to boil down to something like "I just don't see Brees losing this one by less than a field goal."

Lions are a top offense, sadly.
Lions and Giants are 4th and 5th in passing.
Philly is 4th in total yards.
I guess you meant to say they have not played the Packers or Patriots yet this season because there's no one else.

I like 49ers but probably will bet small if I can get 4 with my bookie tomorrow.....might even take a small shot on the moneyline
It's not that I don't like the Saints, I just feel like the Niners have a dominant defense and will get the few important stops they need....they should also be able to play ball control and score enough on a bad saints d

The problem isn't the temperature- it's the wind. The positioning of Candlestick is at a specific spot that juts out into the Bay near hills that causes swirls of wind within the park. That's why weather reports of San Francisco proper aren't going to be able to give you a good idea of what the conditions of the game will actually be like. The Stick actually isn't even really close to the city.

You are right, I was mistaken... they played 1 of the nfls top 7 offense-- detroit... who was smashed in the first round of the playoffs... and as you pointed out, detroit, the one top offense they faced, put up close to 300 passing yards on them.. as did injured romo, vick, eli, injured big ben, ect... all 5 pro bowl caliber qbs they faced did well against them... brees is in a different league then all of them leading the #1 passing offense of all time... could get ugly for sf.. the key to stop brees is to get pressure on him.. with sfs low ranked pass rush vs one of the best lines in football showcasing 2 all pro guards, good luck

why is their d dominant? sure, against their easy schedule, they have been dominant vs the run.. but not the pass, and that is what they are facing tomorrow

the key to this game is Aldon Smith and Justin Smith.
if they Saints o line can block these guys they win easy.
if not its going to be an ugly grind it out game.
I actually expect the Saints not to go deep at all tomorrow...they will take advantage of the Niners flying over the line of scrimmage and hit little screens out to Sproles and Brees will take the little 6-7 yard gains over the middle and grind the way down the field. those deep routes wont have enough time to develop with both of the Smiths rushing the passer and Sean Payton knows it.

It's hard to trust the Saints here since they lost to the Rams and Bucs on the road this season.
And lost to the Seahawks on the road in the previous playoffs.

Hard to bet against the Saints right now. 42+ for 4 games in a row. I don't care who or where they played, that offense might be close to unstoppable now. Weather looks ideal, so no issue there. I wanted to like SF, but I'm having a hard time. He had a solid season, but I don't trust Alex Smith.

I do think that the Saints roll will end before the superbowl, but not here. I like the Saints, and think they win by 10+. Still, it's the playoffs, and "unlikely events" tend to happen more in the playoffs, so I'm on this for just medium, nothing too large.
