I am at my sons upward youth basketball practice capping games. Upward basketball is a church related event for those who did not know. Am I sinning ?????

Haha that's perfectly normal for a gambler. I was actually thinking about this a few days ago. There must have been fathers capping games when I was playing sports as a kid. How can u not?

I do believe gambling is considered a sin. You are capping and not actually gambling so you aren't sinning.

sinning would be giving a line out to the other fathers, taking action, then bribing your son with ice cream to shave points

Bahahaha got a kick out of some of the replies. Only thing I am eyeing is some of these MILFs. The team my kid plays on will definately be dogs for sure..... That team is like watchin chickens with their heads cut off. Games start on the 21st. Got time to stock up on whiskey to drink before gametime to make the game more interesting.

Catholic Priests Sandusky kids all the time and these Priests are 100% for sure going to Heaven. God is REAL and ALL POWERFUL which means he could put a stop to it if he wanted to. But he chooses not to. He allows these Catholic Priests to do these horrible things to children. What you're doing is probably not that bad. I should mention... the word SIN is a joke. So... don't worry about what you're doing... God has much bigger fish to fry and he's not doing a damn thing about any of it. Never has, never will. Just an Atheists opinion.

                            All the time?
I grew up Catholic, went to CCD, in the church orchestra, CYO, the whole nine.
Not once, as in never, did I even hear a whisper of a child abuse incident regarding the church in my area.

                            All the time?
That's pretty much a blanket statement.

Not saying there have been incidents in the history of the church, but I know a few women personally, and read many accounts of boys, girls, women getting (as you put in) Sanduskyed by doctors.

I'm pretty sure more kids have been 'Sanduskyed' by doctors than priests.

Plenty of teachers too take advantage of kids too.

Once you stop believing in God it will be easier to not worry about sins.
