The President looked good against McCain...but he didn't look all that great against Hillary. So little was known about him that he was difficult to attack. Plus, the mods beat up on Hillary and she has never been that likeable. Even when Bill cheated on her, somehow, I could not help not feeling bad for Bill. I am not so confident that the President is going to have a sucessful second time around in the debates. He's not the best speaker off the cuff, he has little to tout, and he's vulnerable in so many areas. At the same time, look at how wishy washy Mitt has been in the last debates. I am not so confident that Mitt will be able to capitalize and keep Obama on the D. If Mitt had some fire, it'd be a blowout. Mitt with Gingrich's tenacity (can't stand Gingrich) and Paul's down to earth ability to deliver messages would be unbeatable. But that's not the case and I wish there was another candidate that I could pull for.

Our marching orders are to treat him and the fools that back him with respect, and then discard him like today's trash after the convention. Obama would destroy Ron Paul, and the Democrats would regain control of the House if Paul were the GOP Candidate. He is the kiss of death to the GOP, and we know it. He will not be ALLOWED to win a Primary until it does not matter. Iit is that simple. The party has enough on the old man to bury him, but will not use it unless they have to. We do not want all of the head cases that back him to get too upset when he loses.

The reason why people are backing Romney is because the most important thing to Republicans and to any American that has half a brain is to rid this nation of the disease that now occupies the White House. The smug, arrogant fools who think that Obama will simply pay and talk his way back into the White house havre no idea what they are in for. Personally, Romney is not my favorite candidate, but he is miles ahead of Oblahblah. The only Candidate that would make me even consider voting for Oblahblah would be Paul.
