Half the people can't read, don't have teeth, wear adult diapers or are from some of the most exotic 3rd world countries. One guy I work with (from some country in the middle of Asia), well, one time I asked him what country he's from and so he told me in his native language.... sounded like some god awful screech by a dying monkey. Now I know better not to ask.

By the way, us postal workers get ammo discounts on Fridays at most sporting good stores.

You can sleep on your runs in your truck during the day, but don't get caught. Had a co-worker who would be napping with his mail sack in the front seat and people would knock on his mail truck door and wake him up... he'd get pissed.

Didn't get fired, though, b/c it's impossible to get fired unless you walk around with your dick out saying 'This spear is for Michelle Obama! God bless!' They just moved him to a different route.

the test is not easy

for the most part the only people that get high enough scores are veterans

you get 10 points added for that

the test is very hard

its not book smarts. its memory. and when i say memory its fukkin rain man sh1t

My dad worked for the post office from 65 to 05 and said it went to shit in the 80's. Can you guess what he feels destroyed it?

I was part of a 10-person lay off in the Providence office about 9 months ago. Been working bullshit jobs since just trying to stay afloat and looking for something else with benefits, etc..

Actually, the test is a joke. They give you 90 minutes. I took an old exam today, finished it in 25 minutes and got one question wrong.
