    WTF is a "Bloke" ???
I hear these U.K and Aussie fellas use this term. Based on what i've heard they are referring to a man. Is this a negative or positive connotation?

originated in England. since there are a lot of gays in England, it originally meant this:

blow job for a coke = that is, an English man would give you a blow job for a Coca Cola

When the English would talk it would be something like this: 'D'you like a blaw jab for a cohk?'

After time that converted into 'Blaw for a cohk?'

Then later on 'Blaw cohk?' (shortened version)

          Then it became 'Bloke?'

So just as ni*gga in American English is now a common term created out of negativity (What's up, my ni*gga) so, too, is 'bloke' in non-American English.
