Why take a timeout with 2:05 on the clock?

If you wait until the 2 min warning, at least you force the Falcons to run the ball or risk giving the Giants plenty of time left with an incompletion.

If you take a timeout with 2:05 to go, you are not forcing the Falcons to run, since they can attempt a passing play and still milk the 5 seconds to get to the 2 min warning.

yeah I saw that too, I thought Buck had it wrong and they called it a 1st down because the guy was moving the chain. someone has to blow the whistle there or the coach has to do something.
