I am a security guard in Manhattan and I will become an armed guard in couple months, I'm filling out the application now and it says "Type of license you are applying for a. premise dwelling b. premise business c. bank or express. d. justice of the supreme court. e. employee of corrections f. proper cause

I dont no which one I choose for armed guard please only people that have license answer thanks.

I have my license but I'm not sure what you'd choose. That's not on any state licenses I have and I'm licensed in numerous states.

Might want to recheck that, I don't think NYC gives pistol permit for carry on except for a very very select few companies outside of law enforcement

99% you want premise business, but best to ask. What kind of firearm do they issue? Where do you even get range practice in NYC?

I work with guards that are armed and my boss told me to apply.........I dont no the rules outside of my job I no I have to transport the gun unloaded that I no for fact.
