If you like Ravens to win this Sunday...
Why not take Bengals to NOT make the playoffs at +160?

I just don't see them making it if they lose to Baltimore with so many other teams still having a chance.

Even a +160/+116 arb is possible even though that's not 100%.

Mind you, they'll probably win just to spite my bet with milwaukeemike.

k13 the other possibilites of the bengals making the playoffs are:
    1) jets lose and denver loses
    2) jets lose and oakland loses

so almost 50% chance of bengals winning, and even if the bengals lose, they still have about a 30% or so chance of making the playoffs. i think +160 should be more like +190 (.50 + (.5x.3).15) = 65% chance or so

        wow what book has that?
i might take the bengals yes at -155

if the jets lose (as a +145 dog) then i could just parlay baltimore/denv/oak on a 3-teamer as a hedge.

otherwise i could take jets ml as a hedge, and if the jets win i could roll that into the ravens -120 or so.

k13 if the bengals don't make the playoffs it i'll pay you the 500 tonight, if they do make it you owe me 625.

Question: If Baltimore wins and Pittsburgh wins....does Baltimore get the #2 seed and a first round bye still?

            correct

baltimore holds tiebreaker regardless whether they both win, or whether they both lose. only way for pittsburgh to win division is with a win coupled with a baltimore losss.

either way, the winner of the division will end up with the #2 seed.

                5dimes Mike.

Ravens should make Ray Lewis sit on the sidelines. Losers are going to cost me 625 points.

If Baltimore wins, they are #2 and Pitt is #5 regardless of Steelers result.
