why not show up for a vacation wherever that bowl game is. it's not like your going to advance to another game if you win. just meaningless exhibition game for fun. the goal is to go to a bowl not win one if you are a college football player, unless it's for the natl. championship of course.

yes, until they implement some kind of playoff system teams will just go (hopefully) to a warm weather place to play an exhibition (bowl) game. don't confuse it with a post season playoff game until they actually mean something, which will be never because they would have to reduce the amount of games and that would cost them money. so if you bet on these neutral site games don't always expect your team to show up to go all out to win because they just don't care. they'd rather beat a conference rival in october than some 6-6 team in december.
