There are no more Mick Andrews, FSU's former long time DC, or Bud Fosters, VT's long time DC.
I do not understand why someone would want to leave Bama for some shitty job in Colorado?

It is a HC stepping stone. They all have to do it

I understand, but Colorado St. is not even a stepping stone.
I would wait for a job in the MAC. Its a stabile conference, with a conference title game to further boost your resum with. The MWC is dissolving into dust, as a viable football conference.

Cam Newton filed his taxes early...he tried to claim a deduction for the $200k he got from Auburn....IRS is on their asses now. Opened up pandora's box
All joking aside though...there has been talk for awhile now that Pat Dye (Auburn's old coach) who practically runs the show anyway still.....was bout to be brought down for all kinds of shady shitt...maybe thats in motion now.
Ask yourself...what former coach/admin guy has an office in the building right next to the current head coach of an SEC school? Dye is 'that guy'

Maybe this will make mcelwain open the playbook up (last game of season) and let er rip instead of the ultra conservative $hit we are used to seeing.

I wouldn't let my wife decide whether to resuscitate me if i am dying if she married another man. Saban shouldn't let mcelwain call the bsc championship game against lsu.

Agreed, something isn't right, why would you turn down Maryland and Vandy for 3 mil per year to accept Arkst for 800-600 grand per year the following year.

Someone else is better fit to offensively coach the very last game of the season?

I think Bama will be fine whether Coach ** were to call plays or not. Remember he wasnt running his offense as much as he was running an offense that Coach Saban approved of. Saban had the handcuffs on him and I think , any new coordinator will also run a very similar offense to what we have seen. Thats the way Saban wants his team to play.

Saban always control his team because Saban understands that his neck is on the line always (as it is). I agree with JW, the same typical Bama plays will be called for this game.

Mcelwain when focused scored 6 whole points. With a foot and half in Colorado springs I smell a shutout.

IMO -- Saban will hire a 'no name' OC whose main strength will be recruiting

Saban is the OC and always has been. He will hire a good recruiter and QB coach.

I'll take LSU straight up if you have so much confidence in Colorado State's Head Coach calling and winning the BCS Championship Game. 500 points? 1000 points? Your call.

We have roughly the same amount of post and points. Let's do it. I take the better team you take the head coach of csu.

Sounds like a deal.
We are confirmed that I am betting bama will not get shut out, you are betting that they will get shut out.
If bama scores even a safety I win.
See you on the 10th to collect.
Oh wait, you can only transfer 2 points a day.
You can start sending now if you want, and by chance bama does get shut out, I will transfer the 2 a day you sent up until the 9th, and transfer all points I may have accumulated by that time.
If I win, you must transfer 2 a day for the next 2300 days.
If this deal sounds as sweet to you as it does to me, confirm before kickoff, and thanks.

I am not betting that Bama will get shut out. I am betting that Bama will not win with an offensive coordinator who is moonlighting as a head coach of colorado state. Now put or shut up.
