The only reason this line is three and a half and not seven or eight is based solely cause of the Butler name and reputation. They are just not a good basketball team this year, ranking very low in the country on ball sides of the ball.
Meanwhile since last year Ball State keeps evolving, they sit at 5-2 giving up 55 points a game, 11th in the country and 14th in the country in Fg defense percentage 36.3.
Than there's Jarrod Jones who averages 19 and 9 at 6'9 Ronald Nored def can't match up with him. Ha
So far around 60% are on Butler but the line keeps trending upward. I like my position here
