Linesmakers want you to think this game is a toss up but one team is the better basketball squad here, and that is the Memphis Tigers. Neither team has great rebounders so as far as edges go I am looking at the team that can shoot better here to win, and thats Memphis.

Lets look at some of those shooting stats:

-13th in the nation in 3pt% against Miami which is 106th
-15th in the nation effective FG%, Miami is 216th
-44th in the nation 2pt%, Miami is 290th

Obviously other factors come in to play in a basketball game but I see a sharp edge here in terms of two teams who don't rely on a strong inside game, I am taking the team with the better shooters. Memphis by 4-8.

Also a strong lean on the over I am seeing about 146-150 points here.

Mia is holding opp to around 60pts per including 61 vs Ole Miss and 65 vs Pur. I'm no expert for sure but from what I've seen of Mia if you do cover the over it might be a sweat at circa 146. GL.

imagine you're a "stupid street ball player" from memphis:
you get off the plane in miami, where it is 85 degrees, beautiful girls all around
wearing next to nothing, and the hurricanes fans just don't give a f@#k about the bball team
right now. brah, the memphis squad is probably gonna shoot the lights out tonight... as far as
first true road games are concerned, I will take mine in paradise, in an empty gym, in front of an
indifferent crowd, and hopefully the memphis tigers can all go out and get tag teamed by some
big fake titty south beach hookers before bouncing back up to the dirty south tomorrow. good luck!

when i thought about this game i kept thinking about two games from sunday.....baylor at northwestern....line was between 2.5 and 3 pts for baylor....baylor obviously the much better team...if they are playing on an netural court im thinking baylor wins 9.8 times out of 10...and northwestern holds no home court advantage here....their homecourt isnt anything to make you think you should stay away

i thought this matchup was quite similar...maybe not as obvious....but similar....loved it even more when it went up to 2.5... miamis hme court isnt really a great advantage.....and memphis is the better team that probably wins a great percentage of the time between these two on a neutral court....add in that the two games memphis dropped were to ranked teams on a neutral court....theyve had some tough tests early

on the other side i thought about another game i hammered sunday in which wichita st was a 2 pt fave against a ranked unlv team.....when thinking about wich st...they play very well at home....and on a neutral court i dunno whos winning that game...and im not entirely sure that unlv is better than wich st.
