Reyes will not play 100 games let alone 150. he got his payday, he will barley see the field. this is one of those contracts that people will be saying wtf did they do that for in 3 yrs. he will be like carl povano with the yankees. at minimum he has 2 dl stints per season. i know they had to do something in order to put asses in the seats , i get it. but this move will not make them anywhere near a contender.Comment -

WE ARE LOADING UP TO BEAT THOSE PHILS AND BRAVES, BUT WE STILL need another starter or 2...volstad is simply god awful and vazquez leaves as well so with leblanc ok....good spot starter, but we're not done we need buerhle over shitty wilson and if not i wont be shocked if we swing a deal for gio gonzalez if we dont get pujols or fielder..
i hope we get prince, its such a logical fit and then trade gaby for pitching......but we'll see.....we have to overpay for reyes as we dont give any no trade clauses....which screws us but leaves us an out....
bell though was worth the money even if overpaid as WE NEED A CLOSER BAD....just signing him gets us 10 more wins a year and if we had that, we'd be in the playoffs like 4 of the last 6 years
