Wasn't this guy a quality QB not too long ago. I would assume Houston picks him up

I hope Texans get him. But they'll still win the division without him. It'll just be icing on the cake.Comment -

#5Bears should get him, depends on which mcnabb your getting. The mcnabb of minnesota and washington is worse than hanie/yates because of all the turnovers he'll single handedly lose games for you.Comment -

#9He should retire at the end of the season. He might be an emergency fit for the bears or Texans. Given a full preseason I can only see him being a back up.Comment -

#11Bears look like the best option (plus McNabb would love to play there too), doubt that Houston would jump in to get him especially since they already signed Jake Delhomme. Dallas could take him as they have Waiver priority over the Bears...Comment -

#13I'd take McNabb over Delhomme if there was a gun to my head.
Actually, Houston would be smart to trade Dallas for Stephen McGee. He has the potential to be a player at the QB position.Comment -

#14McNabb is done. I hope the Bears do pick him up.Originally posted by Dark HorseIf with religion you mean belief system, your belief system is your religion. Again, it matters not what it is. #15It's a tough decision I agree, but Houston already agreed with Delhomme so it kinda would be a waste to pick them both up, Delhomme hasn't played since he was replaced by Colt McCoy and McNabb, well, he just didn't get a proper chance to get in sync with the team...
It's a tough call, but I say it's right now a matter if Dallas or Da Bears pick him up... I'd love to see him play with the Bears... and he's not that expensive the team that pick him up only has to pay 1.5M... so guess we just have to wait and see what happens...Comment -

#17The reason he was waived is because he requested he be released. He served his purpose for Minnesota and they know they don't need him. And he knows that there will definitely be a spot for him somewhere on CHI/HOU/etc if he's available. No one wants to be the #2 QB on a 2-9 team. He could very well see himself on a playoff team. I hope he finds a spot on one, on a team I don't want to do well.Comment -

#19In all fairness to Donovan, he was a warrior but like Dr. Stale said "he's done". Chicago would be great for Donovan but he's washed up. Sometimes a player hit's their limit and it's downhill from there. Donovan has reached his limit. A good quarterback but I wouldn't consider him great. Respectable career to be proud of.Comment -

#32The guy carried a soft a$$ Andy Reid offense for years that couldn't run on 3rd/1 if their life depended on it. He threw for 350 yds and 3 tds in the SB (3 picks too to be fair). He's never been great but he had to carry his team like no other in his career except Peyton Manning. I hope he does well and Rush Limbaugh was never right. That bloated racist piece of $Hit needs to hang out in a phone booth with AStompagain Suh.Comment -
