My Thoughts on NBA lockout ending
I'm really glad that it did

the regular season being delayed has already caused a lot of damage to the NBA (especially with so many people who think that NBA players are overpayed). I don't think the NBA officials realize that the NBA is not an indispensable league like the NFL is (people absolutely have to have the NFL but a lot of people seem like they're perfectly fine with just watching college basketball), so it's so important to get the NBA back this season ASAP

I just hope we have a season as good as last year's - the 2010 NBA season was the best one we've had since Jordan left in terms of all around drama/interesting storylines etc...

Looking forward to you saying how easy NBA betting is.

Then saying how hard it is.

Then saying how it's really easy if you only make a few, select teasers.

All while nobody can actually track how much you lose.

It's not a soap opera Brah. The nba has been going the wrong way, hyping meaningless garbage not related to the game itself. Look at the sportswriters that cover the nba, nothing more than gossip columists. Could someone like adrian worjanowski write a meaningfull article about the coaching style of say Greg Poppovich? The guy would be clueless, like 90% of the rest. the nba has been reduced to a circus full of poorly trained, highly paid monkeys.

and what the hell are you talking about, poorly trained players??? The level of talent in the league right now is absolutely incredible. You got guys like Lebron James who can play nearly every position on the court, you got 7 footers like Dirk who can play like a shooting guard, you got one of the most athletic big men in the history of basketball like D Howard, etc...

the only problem with basketball nowadays is not enough good big men...but I can watch Bulls/Heat play every day

The real losers in professional sports are the cities that tax-subsidized the construction and partial maintenance of stadiums. Since 1990, I believe there have only been 5 or less (I want to say 2) stadiums that have been built without the public's financial backing. It's been proven that stadiums and teams don't bring revenue in, but take revenue away from cities. Given the economic trends, professional sport payroll trends, and technology's impact on sports, existing problems will only worsen.

Lebron has no post up game limited shooting skills and no heart. Limited basketball IQ is a huge problem with modern nba stars, making the game really hard to watch at times.

Finals weren't even one of the best five series in the playoffs last year.

Love the tough playoff atmosphere letting soft fouls go. Don't like seeing a foul called after the shot is missed. Great way to make it seem like he couldn't miss.
