Case Keenum +3500 To Win Heisman Trophy?
The degree of difficulty might not be there concerning the schedule but his team is 11-0 and he's been nearly perfect. 309 of 421 for 4269 yards (73.4%), 38 TD and 3 INT.

I like Luck in a tight battle but Keenum is worth throwing a few dollars on. What does anyone think about this?

No chance. It's just like the BCS, it's going to a kid from a power conference. Luck or Richardson.

For starters he's not the best college player in the game.
Landry Jones, Griffin, even Seth Dodge would be considered before Keenum.

Trust me on this, nobody takes Houston seriously, that will hurt Keenum.

          What about the running backs?
Trent Richardson, James in Oregon, hell, I can make a case for Montee Hall.

There is no value in Keenum, in order to have value, it must have a chance to win, Keenum has no chance to win, and even less when he and his fraudulent Cougar team goes down in flames to Tulsa.

its based on human votes the guy has an outside chance. if he is sitting in the first row at the awards show its worth it for the rush alone

voters don't respect him, esp. former heismen winners who do have votes. media as you can tell in the polls doesn't respect houston.

his chances are very very low. qb stats can be a tough thing to quantitative in college, esp. with the different passing style of offenses.

look at Colt Brennan - he put up amazing numbers.

luck plays in a power running game style offense, and has no top level wrs, and no deep threat. he is having one hell of a year. and i think he should win it.

i think griffin 3 after he beat ok. has a chance to win it, and imo he is the front runner.

if wisconsin didn't lose on two miracles, who knows monte ball might be getting it ahead of wilson.

this is the craziest year for the heismen that i can remember. but i can almost be positive that you guy aint gonna win it. sorry sir.

at most sites he was around +1900 before today. should be like +1300 next week

i took a bet like this at thegreek back in 2004, Justin Gatlin was +1700 to win the gold medal in the mens 100m because Maurice Greene was in his prime. i took it because it had a chance to win and id watch the race with an outside chance thrill, and it did

This guy is totally doing impressive stuff out there on the field but, the odds are like that for a reason. No one takes Houston seriously obviously. They're 12-0 and only ranked 8th IMO because everyone else keeps losing. Also with Luck in the picture it's going to be difficult, don't waste your money.

I'm not saying Keenum is bad, but his stats don't hold much weight because of Houston's strength of schedule. Luck, Richardson, and RG3 are currently at the top of the list for me.. and not in that order.

Luck is an overrated qb. Notre Dame just got a pick. Trent Richardson over 200 yards in the Iron Bowl. He can take this. (I like Keenum but he get's no respect). Richardson is coming on strong at an opportune time.

RGIII deserves it in my opinion. He is having a monstrous season and carrying his team on his back. If Baylor had any kind of D whatsoever, they would be in the NCG picture.
