Large Wager on St Johns Basketball Today

I know this team Texas A&M better than anybody, which is my alma mater. They are an overrated team and should not be favored -1 playing St. Johns at the Garden. I made the biggest wager of my life when they played Oklahoma in football 2 weeks ago and that was a winner http://forum.sbrforum.com/college-fo...r-my-life.html.

St. Johns played well against a great Arizona team last night and look for them to push the tempo which will be A&M's weakness. A&M's only strength is playing down low which will get eaten up by a very physical St Johns's team. Look for the the Johnnies to jump on them right out of the gates and win this by 15+ points.

I'm not knocking your play, rather stating my opinion on St. Johns overall. They are starting three freshmen also. TX A&M is w/o their best player which is huge, and looked inept againszt the worst coached team in NCAAB.

completely understandable but sometimes teams play down to their opponent and its very early in the season. you gotta shake off a little rust to get going. i feel like giving the aggies -1 at madison square guarden is just way too much respect. oddsmakers are looking at their #18 ranking while making this line and its just not right.

Miss. St. crowded the paint against an A&M team that does most of it's damage in the paint. Then the Aggies got flustered and started beating themselves. I would be very surprised if they don't come to play tonight.

From another perspective, people saw SJU hang with Arizona for most of the night last night, and might think they're getting a steal on the "home" team against an Aggie team that looked awful last night. Given the results last night for SJU and TAMU, I would think that the young SJU players would probably be pretty proud of themselves for playing well against Arizona, whereas you know the Aggies players are going to be playing mad after last night. I like Texas A&M to win comfortably.

no they are not 1-7 on field goals and 0-3 on 3 pointers isnt a good start. luckily a&m is going to be in foul trouble early. only down 6 points after a horrific start means it can only get better. the johnnies have to stop the perimeter shooting and rebounds.
