Andrew Luck (-155) to Win the Heisman Trophy Prop Bet

5 Dimes has a prop giving odds out on who will win the Heisman Trophy tomorrow night.

Andrew Luck is the favorite at (-155) with Brandon Weeden of Oklahoma State second at (+200). LeMichael James RB for Oregon is (+2000) also. Case Keenum I think is (+900) if I remember correctly.



Is Andrew Luck a safe pick here at (-155)? Might put down $155 to win $100.

Any thoughts?

He doesn't deserve it but he's been so hyped up to win. Now, you have his last game against Oregon in which Oregon crushed Stanford and people 2nd guess the bet. I won't say "take or don't take" but if one of the contenders has a huge game, it's not a given that Luck will win.

You can find something with better odds. (Not a bad bet if you can afford to lose-someone will have to take it from him-I'll leave it at that)

I'm with you on throwing down 155 to win 100 just not sure yet I think Luck will explode after that loss and the media hype around him alone will play a factor in the judges.

If Luck has a big game against Notre Dame I gotta believe he will win this. Need to look into Notre Dame's pass defense. This could be a good bet. The odds of a quarterback winning are extremely high. Weeden could win, but I think he has to have a monster game against OU. Their is an age barrier and I think many of these voters may be hesitant to vote for a 28 year old, plus he has Justin Blackmon. Luck has nobody. A runningback won't beat out Luck if Stanford wins out.

How come nobody is mentioning Matt Barkley? his numbers are just as good as Andrew Lucks. is b/c the media refuses to report anything good about USC since they are on bowl game probation? Personally I don't really care about indvidual awards and USC is one of my least favorite programs but Barkley is having just as good of a season as Luck.

Nothing personal to Andrew Luck but he shouldn't win the Heisman. This has been the most blatant example ever of a guy everyone wanted to win the Heisman so they literally gave it to him day 1. Sickening. Lamichael James should be the Heisman winner.
