Lots of my plays are juiced, yes. But unlike juice drones who bankrupt themselves, I pick my spots for juice.

Some have suggested I stop juicing hockey lines a goal, and I probably should since most of my under 6.5's go under 5.5 anyway...

And I don't know why teasers get such a bad rap. If you tease the right teams, it is a pretty easy bet to hit. If you just blindly tease favorites, you'll lose of course, but teasing a few sure favorites like the Packers over the Rams and then putting 13 points on what should be a close game is the way to go I think.

The only downside is a 3-3 tie ruins you. I don't bet hockey much typically. When college basketball arrives, I'll rarely bet it.

nah buying goals with those grind it out low scoring teams like the canadiens, or whatever i havent done my research, that seems like a very solid strategy

I mean pick my spots as in actually analyzing the games.

Brahma loves juiced lines, but he typically just picked the biggest favorite and played it regardless of if there was any value there. I don't think I do that.

Depends on the game. The big name schools are a little more reliable... they're usually loaded with NFL talent anyway.

yea but see if you're going to lay a really heavy road moneyline chances are that dog is live and even if it gets covered on its not going to be by a lot usually, unless of course its a total mismatch..so inthat situation since you like these 13 pt teasers i think yuou would be bettr off increasing that 17 pt dog to 30 or whatever instead of laying that huge ML and risking an upset

Yeah the buying a goal in hockey doesn't make sense to me. Both of your games went under the 5.5 so you paid a bunch of juice to "feel safer". Do you understand the win % you need to overcomes -240 juice vs -120 or whatever the original line was? You could of won over an extra grand on the 2 unders without buying the extra goal.

i lesrned a long time ago even the biggest locks lose outright so the golden rule of teasers is to increase the dog cause upsets happen..and if its such a full card of games to pick from on aweekend then you're better off looking for live dogs and teasin those

I have some general rules in college football. I try to avoid the ACC and Big 12 when teasing, b/c those leagues don't play defense anyway. Points are meaningless.

You have a good point. I think sometimes it is prudent to tease some big favorites, say like a home favorite -15.5 or something... you tease it down to -2.5 and there is a very good shot that team is going to win by a field goal at least.

yea but the other side is less likely to lose by 30..every game is diff... but its more likely that an overwhelming fav will show up not with their full edge believeing that they will win just by showing up cause of the hype..they are human and they know what games they are supposed to win...ravens yesterday is a classic example..always better to tease that dog to 20 or 23

I just ask myself if I trust the QB before I bet on a team.

For instance... Saints -15.5 over the Colts... I would have taken the Saints -2.5 before I took the Colts +28.5 just b/c Painter could throw a couple pick 6's and then bet lost.

Same for college. I tail the elite QBs.
