Thas why the Rangers spanked the Giants in the world series last year right? Pitching wins late, and we have the best.
Our offenses is just as deadly.

Is it true that the Tigers will be playing the rest of the playoffs in Ann Arbor? Word is that Detroit fans were so happy they beat the Yanks, that they burned down Comerica Park to show their hometown pride!

Funny no one heard Paco say one word about the Tigers all season until october 1st. Poser
Tigers will lose to the Rangers.

The Rangers win in 6, they will take game 1 against V. Let's not forget that CJ is also an ace and the rangers have better bats. Who is detroit going to use to match Beltre and Napoli? However, don't hang your heads you had a great season, that Yankee win was huge!

I see a hard fought serries. The Rangers bats struggle in that Detroit pitchers park. If the Rangers bats would focus on putting the ball in play as opposed to fence swinging when playing up in Detroit, I would give Texas the advantage for the series. That's a big "IF" though as they seem incapable of doing that up there.
Other than Verlander, I say the Rangers have the better starting pitching matchups. Bullpens about even and a slight edge to Detroit with closing duties.
looking forward to watching these teams square off over the next week or so.

What was your premise for taking Tex series price over the giants last year if pitching wins late? Cause everyone knew sf had better pitching than tex last year.

AH i see. Well he got rocked. Verlander is better than him though right? Should be a good series. Good luck to your boys. I have no dog in this series yet as there is no value on either team yet. I do find value in tex to win the world series at +288

Clifford Lee and I thought 2-3 runs would be enough to beat the Giants. Who would've thunk those anemic bats would avg 6+ in the WS. Verlander is just as good if not better than old Clifford, and the Tigers offense is not too shabby. Throw all that In with a bit of homerism, and there'smy wager

Tigers offense is okay. They get hits at key times and squeeze through. There offense wont beat texas averaging 3.2 runs per game though.

Detroit with Verlander -113 for Game 1 Saturday? Can you say bargain? I'm not expecting a lot from C.J. Wilson. Can you trust a player who doesn't drink? Like, no booze. Wilson's home digits this year nothing special -- 3.69, 1.23, .246. Meanwhile, Verlander in 2011 day games -- 1.78, 0.78 and .158 with a lower road BAA vs. @ home (1.87 vs. .198). Tigers are an awesome bet.
