I forgot the WNBA existed until I saw this thread. I guess if you are a basketball junkie and can't wait until college basketball starts up then maybe the WNBA is alright, personally I would rather watch a pickup game down at the local.

beaverball is not real basketball but some teams have an edge. the refs arent held accountable at all because afterwall- they're regulating wnba. they decide whats a foul and whats not a foul...it seems like theres not much of a book they go by in the NBA. (there are obviously rules but its just a different game)

the reason so many people think Atlanta dream can beat a womens basketball team on any given night is because they dont play as much like girls as the other teams and they have great shooters and good ball movement inside the paint.

the problem is the team theyre playing is the team i thought would win the title this year since WNBA draft day. maya moore rookie of the year took this team the rest of the way from worst to first fast.

that chick got her college team to like 80 straight wins playing in the big east, player of the year almost every year shes played, she was dunking in highschool.

she was invited to the play presidential basketball with lebron and kobe...

theres a discussion right now of whether she could play in the NBA with the guys. She could thrive but we wouldnt wanna open up that can of worms.

I lean Dream as well but no way in hell would I play it based on Minny's 4Q D at home of late and throughout the postseason. It seems every team that visits Minny is in it heading into the final frame then Minny decides fk it, we'll just blow you out and hold you to 5 or so 4Q points.

Plus if Angel doesn't have a monster game like she did last game, the blowout could come sooner. Too many things to make this a no play for me but good luck. Atlanta showed they can hang for 3 quarters but that question mark in the 4th and its a big ? mark has me scared away here. Good luck with the play.

minnesota is the better team. atlanta has to bully and get some calls but its not a terrible dog pick. last game dream jumped out to a lead and was up at the half then got blown out.

i was thinking about the same thing. I am not so sure whether Mccoughtry can score so much. Expecting a normal 18-22 game, then this will play its role for the Dream to stay close. I am not convinced at all taking Atlanta +5.5 (that's the line at my book now). I am leaning -5.5 but still not sure.
