His September numbers were relatively better (1.40 WHIP, 4.30 ERA, 5-2 record), and he seems to have come on stronger in the final stretch.

I think a good indicator of how he'll pitch today is the Sep 1 game he pitched @ BOS. That's probably the closest thing to a playoff environment game for him this season, and an away game. Boston in a situation where they are desperately trying to hold on to their position. In that game he went 5 innings, gave up 5 hits, 2 walks, a homerun and 2 runs.

I'd have to guess that today Burnett goes 5 innings and gives up 3-4.
