Florida will Beat Alabama This Saturday +5 and ML

I know nothing about college football, but if k13 and lakerboy are the only 2 that like Florida, while everyone else is saying otherwise, I'm playing Florida +5. Thanks for doing the heavy lifting for me k & laker, 2 of the best contrarians at SBR.

Speed wins games......the Gators ae fast........but so is Bama....and theyt are much bigger........AlaBAMA BY 10...EASY...................PS I live in Florida my whole life you may want to go back and check my past posts on Fl teams 100 percent this year........

Same went for Mcelroy 2 years ago...and the same system remains in place - pound the ball running, play strong defense and let the QB throw to weapons (Maze,Hanks) but not give the game away from 30 pass attempts per game.

im sure muschamp will do all he can to try n slow down their ground attack so the onus will be on McCarron to make plays thru the air without julio jones now in a very tough environment. McElroy had ingram and richardson to rely on, which most teams could not handle. I think the coaching change was good for florida I think they will play with a chip on their shoulder under this guy. Its going to be a big game as it is most of the time in this league.

Im also on the Gators I think they will shake up the standings after the win there are some good teams at the bottom right now waiting to climb up...I also like the Texas Aggies with 18 out of 22 starters returning this year over Arkansas....Good luck with your wagers everyone....

Muschcamp is a great coach, absolutely....that's why Saban hired him to work for him on more than one occasion.

You are right, they can try and slow down T-Rich and Lacy but many have tried that....those guys are beasts to bring down. UF doesn't have the biggest secondary to do this with. I'd be more worried about Brantley checking down correctly against Saban/Smart's D. The way we tend to show a look...wait for the QB to audible, then shift again...the beauty of having only 3 guys stationary up front and drop more of blitz from anywhere.

Another key for the game:

Florida has been penalized 39 times for 315 yards; Alabama just 12 times for 119 yards.

UF being so young will lead them to more penalties. In a game like this, that is huge.

nothing shocking expected...bama wins by 10-14 and the score wont show how much they dominated...florida needed better competition early in the season to get ready for this game...good team, but not on bama level...

The cover is the most likeliest occurrence here as this would be a major upset so I'd rather be smart than cocky and take both.
