Anybody else thinking of making a futures bet on Rangers to win World Series????

I honestly think the Rangers can pull it off this year. Everyone knows they swing the bats as well as anyone. I think the pitching is finally there the lefties Wilson and Holland. These lefties match up really well if the make it to the world series to face the Phillies with that predominantly lefty line-up.

I think I've been to a World Series where Cliff Lee lost both of his starts (last years), so it's not like he's unbeatable. Fukk him.

Holland and Wilson are good as any pitchers in baseball when they are on and I personally think the Rangers line-up is as good as the Yankees and Red Sox.

I think yall got a good chance of cashing those tickets... Red Sox getting cold before the playoffs, Tigers have Verlander but they don't have the bats that Rangers do, and Yankees starting pitching staff doesn't really scare me.


Phillies also picked a bad time to go on a 6 game losing streak, they better heat up soon.

At the beginning of the year, I think in May I had a free play at bodog to pick the Winner of the World Series. I put it on the rangers so I hope you are right 15:1. I think the Brewers are going to win it though.

world series winners aren't the best teams for a given year. if you really want to bet on this kind of thing, just take the two biggest dogs to win. any team can win the world series.
